IRA YAMINI DESHMUKH
I’m Ira, a second-year architecture student at the Woodbury School of Architecture in Los Angeles, California. I’m originally from the Silicon Valley, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I participated in various STEM and Performing Arts organizations. Through my time in these fields, I developed a creative and technical skill set that sparked my interest in Architecture, a beautiful blend of the two concepts.
On this site, I’ve displayed works ranging from my college application process to current projects I’ve developed in Architecture school. I hope you enjoy it!
For my second studio, I was tasked with creating a series of diagrams for my project, including a concept diagram. Instead of the traditional route, I embraced a more visual and creative approach by crafting two collages—one for my Midterm project and another for my Final project. These collages capture the essence of my ideas, inspirations, materiality, and color palettes, encapsulating the key elements that informed the design and development of both the drawings and models. Each piece serves as a visual narrative, illustrating the conceptual and aesthetic considerations that guided my work.
